TRUST

We put our trust in each other
Today our pre schoolers have tried a trust exercise. They were blind folded and guided by their friends around our woodland play area, trusting what their friends were telling them the whole time. We are so proud of the bonds our children have made and this shows great confidence in the friendships they have built. Well done pre school

Hands up if your child has used hammers, nails and drills today! Well our pre schoolers have. Today in our Forrest school lesson we learned what hammers, nails and drills are used for and we got the chance to use them. We were all very well behaved, listened to instructions and we took turns very well. How wonderful that we are learning these life skills to develop our knowledge of the world and our physical development..

We give our very little children a whole range of sensory textures for them to explore. We also encourage self directed sleep, having taken away our cots an replaced them with coracles, our small toddlers, who are between 6 months old and 20 months, have begun to take themselves for a rest at the times that they need to. Their brains are developing so fast at this age and they need all the rest they can get.
